Introduction and Purpose

The Bid Document is intended to assist the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) in offering an opportunity to a host community to supply our league with an elite championship venue to host the 2nd Annual Clarkson Cup Championship. The prestigious Clarkson Cup is where two teams from the CWHL and two teams from Western Canada will compete on your home ice for the honor of winning the cup. This is an opportunity that strengthens women's hockey to the National Level as well as in your local community. These teams feature individuals that are Olympic and National level players of the past, present and future. These women have the ability to inspire and ignite young girls to follow there dreams and passions, to be what they chose in their community and the hockey world.
